Where do I start? Which source is best? I did a Google search and got 1,346,896 websites! Help!!
Where DO you start to find information on your topic? Breaking down the task makes it much more manageable. Here's a good way to start:

Tips for information searching1. Think about search terms or keywords. These should be fairly specific. Write a list ahead of time.
2. The Gale "In Context" databases allow you to browse topics or search by keyword. Instructions for accessing the HHS databases can be found at Quick Access to Databases. This video focuses on Opposing Viewpoints in Context, but all of the In Context databases work the same way.
3. Use Google Scholar to search only scholarly articles. 4. Use JSTOR to find scholarly articles and literary cricticism. Instructions for accessing JSTOR can be found at Quick Access to Databases. |
